Disabling A VPS

Written by: on 20 June 2012 03:44 PM 20 June 2012 03:44 PM

Read the following steps on how you can disable or suspend a VPS because your client hasn't paid.

Portal Login Explained

If you login to the portal website using your email address and password you can administer all your VPSs, change account details, place new orders etc.

If you login to the portal website using your VPS username and password you will only have access to manage a single VPS, no mention of VPSBlocks is made, and no ability to modify your account or order services.

How to disable/suspend a VPS

If you need to disable a VM because your client hasn't paid, you can do the following:

1. Go to https://portal.controlmyvps.com.au

2. Login using your email address and password

3. Click on the 'VPS Management' tab

4. Select the VPS in question from the drop down list box

5. Click on 'Suspend VPS'

Note: If you are paying us at the same time as your clients are paying you this would rarely be used, as the VM will automatically be suspended when payment is overdue according to our schedules. You will of course be notified of upcoming payments, and given time to collect payments before VMs are suspended.
