Memory not all usable with large hardware reserved in task manager

If you have more than 4GB of RAM on your Windows system, and task manager is reporting only 4GB usable, with a large portion of 'hardware reserved' RAM, you may need to check a setting in the msconfig tab.

1. Click start

2. Type msconfig

3. Go under the "Boot" tab

4. Click "Advanced options" button

5. Uncheck "Maximum memory"

6. Reboot the server.
