Read the full knowledgebase article and know how you can cancel a clients account.

Portal Login Explained

If you login to the portal website using your email address and password you can administer all your VPSs, change account details, place new orders etc.

If you login to the portal website using your VPS username and password you will only have access to manage a single VPS, no mention of VPSBlocks is made, and no ability to modify your account or order services.

Cancelling any services

This method works for any services including VPS, SPAM Filtering, DNS Zones or Licensing.

1. Go to https://portal.controlmyvps.com.au

2. Login using your email address and password

3. Click on the 'Account/Billing' on the left hand panel

4. Click on 'Manage' next to the service you wish to cancel.

5. Choose 'Request Cancellation'.

Cancelling a VPS

If you are a reseller and need to cancel a clients' VPS you do this in the same way as you would cancel your own VPS:

1. Go to https://portal.controlmyvps.com.au

2. Login using your email address and password

3. Click on 'Virtual Machines' on the left hand panel

4. Click on the 'Manage' button next to the VPS

5. Click on 'Cancel Server'

6. Confirm the cancellation.

The account has now been cancelled. It will physically be removed from the server within 24 hours. Once a cancellation request has been made you will never be billed again for that service.

If you have accidentally submitted a cancellation request and wish to continue the service, please email us and we will remove the request before it's processed where possible. Note that once a cancellation has been processed all data is erased permanently and cannot be restored unless you purchased the daily backup feature when your service was active.

Cancelling a Domain Registration

1. Go to https://portal.controlmyvps.com.au

2. Login using your email address and password

3. Click on 'Domain Registration'

4. Click on 'Manage Domains'

5. Click on 'Manage Domain' next to the domain in question

6. Click on 'Auto Renew' and ensure it is disabled.

Domain registrations cannot be cancelled, but you can stop them from auto-renewing.

Cancelling Licensing

1. Go to https://portal.controlmyvps.com.au

2. Login using your email address and password

3. Click on 'Licensing'

4. Select the license you wish to cancel.

5. Follow the prompts to cancel it.

Know how you can automatically create client login accounts for resellers.

As a reseller you are automatically provided a unique VPS username and password with each VPS you add. This can be provided to your clients for VPS Management only of a single VPS.

There are times however when you may have a larger client who has multiple VPSs and you wish to provide them a single VPS Management login to manage all their VPSs without of course giving them access to all your VPSs, to any account information, or give any indication of your actual host.

To do this you need to create a Sub Account with Product Permissions Only.

1. Go to https://portal.controlmyvps.com.au and login using your account level EMAIL address and password.

2. Click on the 'Accounts' tab

3. Click on 'Contacts/Sub-Accounts'

4. You need to create an account for them, under the 'Choose Contact' drop down box select 'Add New' and click 'Go'

5. Fill out the form. We recommend you use an email address at yourdomain for their login e.g. if your company is mrhost.com and your client is Truck World you could set an email truckworld@mrhost.com. We recommend this so we do not have your clients actual email address on file. We would not email your client in any case, however, they will have to contact you directly to have their portal password reset. By using an email address login that they do not have access to you ensure that absolutely no contact between us and your client is possible.

6. Make sure you check 'Activate Sub-Account' to enable this user to login to the portal.

IMPORTANT: Do NOT check any 'Account Level Permissions' as this is specifically for contacts you create for your employees to do certain things.

5. Click the 'Save Changes' button - IMPORTANT: The VPS Management Permissions only display AFTER saving your contact. Most likely you will need to reload the page by clicking on 'Contacts' on the top menu for the VPS Management Permissions to display.

6. Scroll down and you will now see options to select VPS Management Permissions.

7. Select the VPSs you want this client to have access to manage.

8. Click 'Save Changes'.

9. Test the login by going to https://portal.controlmyvps.com.au and logging in with the user you just created. You'll see they only have management level access to the VPSs you specified.

This articles tell how you can earn money by reselling VPSBlocks unique and fantastic products

When you resell for VPSBlocks you not only get to sell a unique and fantastic product, you can also make quite a lot of money. As one of the only providers of NVME/Flash based VPS Cloud services in Australia you can mark up our prices and still make good sales.

A good example is if you sold a single 2 block Linux VPS to your client at $80 per month.

Yearly Income: $960
Yearly Cost: $597.60

Total Profit: $362.40

Now, consider you have more than 15 active VPS clients with VPSBlocks, you then get a discount on all of them of 20%.

Yearly Income: $14400
Yearly Cost: $7171.20

Total Profit: $7228.80

As you can see, by signing up clients through VPSBlocks reselling system you can make a substantial amount of money without any capital outlay or virtualization expertise.
